This option really allows you to export mails to any mail client on any operating system. The trick is to make this utility act as a Mail Server and set up your mail client to get mail from it just as it would get mail from your real mail server.

First, set up your mail client's POP3 server as localhost. Before you change the setting write it down somewhere so that you can change it back after you finish the mail migration.

Now, it would be good if you would make a temporary directory in your mail client and move all the mails from Inbox to that directory. Having a clean Inbox makes it easier to distinguiss the new imported mails from the old ones.

Now, select one directory and click the "Universal Export" button. Now check email in your mail client. After you check your mail it's possible that you see the Outlook's security dialog box which asks you if you wish to allow the utility to access your mails. You should pick the option to allow access for the next 10 minutes (or more isn't it, but 10 minutes should be enough for exporting). Voila! You got your mails in your clients Inbox. Now select all of them and move them to the directory of yrou choise. Now you're ready to move some other directory. Don't forget to set up your mail client's POP3 server setting (localhost will not make sense after you export the mails)
