You can create simple hotfolder and/or scheduled workflows or you can create complex workflows which use conditional branching. All workflows are executed by daemons which can run from the systemtray or as a service. The standard version has 10 separate daemons which each can run virtually unlimited workflows. The separate daemons ensure independant processing to balance your workflows. There is also a 20-daemon and 30-daemon version available.

A powerful part of FST-Pro are the internal variables. These variables give you a wide range of information about the current file (when using a hotfolder workflow). Information like filename, filepath, FileSize, fileowner etc. can be used in the scripts to direct the workflow.
