eConsole is a console window for NT (it does now also run under Windows 9x, but some features are simply not available under Windows 9x). It resembles a lot the Eterm program for the X-Windows Manager Enlightenment - but it is for Windows NT and Windows 9x.

eConsole is designed to run any Windows NT console process in a custom window with its own background image and font selection. eConsole is still the development stage - so use it at your own risk. Many people use eConsole with the LiteStep shell for Windows 9x and Windows NT. See the screenshots to see eConsole in action. you can free download eConsole 1.0i now.
