Network Device Monitor, NDM for short, (the server), allows a Network Administrator to poll and scan multiple network devices at set intervals to ensure they are operational. Should a device fail and not provide a response to NDMs request, an alert is generated. These alerts comprise a popup, an email notification and client PC notification for immediate response. A client application is provided which connects via TCP and a TCP/IP port. All errors, or non-responses, are logged with other logging enhancements available.

NDM can poll hundreds of network devices, web servers; you name it! You can use IP or DNS name! NDM has full DNS name resolution.

One customer, who uses NDM, is a large hotel with multiple wireless guest Internet access points, several business networks, servers and routers. NDM polls each of these devices and alerts IT staff when a failure occurs.
