I use this piece of software to help me with two different tasks. On the one hand I sometimes have to send or save a file that is simply to big; the only solution is to split that file into different parts. And on the other hand I sometimes download a file in parts which then have to be rebuild to the original file. Zipper does exactly that; it allows you to split a file into smaller parts and rebuild the original file from a number of smaller parts.

wrote this application because I could use it and because all other software I found to do this seemed to me to be illogical and annoying to use. I also wrote it because I wanted to see how hard it was to write an application and commercialize it. So I wrote a licensing engine for it, built a website to sell it and set things up so that people (that is you) could buy it.

The whole process was fun, but I'm done with that and I've decided to just make it available without further cost.
