Use the Mixer to select a sound source, adjust the volume, and then click [Play] or [Record]. The Oscilloscope traces the waveform of the sound while the Spectrum Analyzer plots the harmonic frequencies of that sound, aligned with the keys of the MIDI Keyboard so that you can see the loudness of each note as it is played. The Spectrum Analyzer bar graph scrolls continuously so that you can view all nuances of the sound as it changes with time.

WaveShow makes it easy to record Wave files from sound sources on your computer (CD, microphone, MIDI or MP3 Player), or from external sound sources via the line/aux output of your HiFi or stereo receiver (CD, tape, phono, AM/FM radio, or TV). In Preview mode, you can see and hear the music continuously, without recording. When you want to start recording, just click the [Record] button. You can start and stop recording at any time and each recorded sound segment can be saved as a separate Wave file or all segments can be saved in a single file.
