Editor: VCDemo is an assisting tool for teaching image & video compression techniques developed by the ICT group, Delft University, Holland.

SIPL works in cooperation with the ICT group to enhance VCDemo and to add more modules to it. Several new modules have already been produced by SIPL and will be soon incorporated into the original version from ICT. In the meantime, SIPL offers a version of its own, called VCDemo-SIPL in order to prevent confusion. This version includes the following additional modules:

* H.264 Encoder/Decoder analysis

* Morphological image segmentation
