Now ScreenAlarm provides you with the possibility of using your favorite screensaver without missing any important event
You can instruct ScreenAlarm to monitor your computer and display icons whenever:
email is received (Microsoft® Outlook or any other MAPI client),
a message box is shown, or
a file that you are interested in gets updated.
Eventually, ScreenAlarm could Capture any event! For example, if you are a proud CheXpy user, you can create a 'File update' notification, indicate CheXpy log file as a target and you'll be notified about SourceSafe events...

Features
Transparency. Set up ScreenAlarm as the screensaver at your Display Properties, click Settings, and select your favorite screensaver from the list. Nothing is changed for you except now you'll get notified about emails or any other important event!
Easy customization. Open 'Polling' tab and define as many events as you wish. You can instruct ScreenAlarm to either wait for a message box with some distinctive caption or keep an eye on some file of interest. Besides, if you have Microsoft(R) Outlook running, incoming email would be captured too.
Choose an icon. You are free to assign any icon to the event. For your convenience some original icons are provided with ScreenAlarm.
Choose your style. To attract your attention you can set icons to "enlarged" or else you can make them blink.
