WHAT TIMEMAKER SOLVES

Over the years I have noticed a few things that lead me to develop TimeMaker. I'd like to just share these with you quickly because I'm willing to bet you're experiencing most of these yourself, if not all of them.

1. I somehow became a slave to my emails.
2. Sometimes people would not do things I would ask them to do. I would then forget about them and what would cause me to remember would be the situation I would be all of a sudden facing due to the previously forgotten task. So missing the smaller taks earlier would then turn into an almost overwhelming situation later.
3. I also noticed that I would be presented with beautiful plans by my staff but most of the time the plans, upon implementation, exceed their budgets and target dates.
4. My executives, despite being good and competent people, actually were not able to know everything which was supposed to be done in a given day. As days turned into weeks, delays would go unnoticed and the executive in charge would not have enough time to react to the larger situation down the road. By the time the delay would have been brought to the executive's attention (if it even was) it would be too late. So we'd end up needing a magician to fix the problem and, at least in my Company, not all executives were magicians.
5. I noticed I'd get more and more emails and have less and less time for actual work. It came to the point where I wasn't sure whether I was controlling the email, or the email was controlling me and it was almost impossible to get ahead of it.
