EditBy: Source Code Scanners 4.0 is the high performance library of visual components for C++ Builder and Delphi intended for creating analyzers and parsers of source codes.

It includes components of the C++ Lexical analyzer, the Object Pascal (Delphi) lexical analizer, the PHP lexical analyzer, the HTML lexical analyzer, the CSS1 lexical analyzer and the C++ Preprocessor, but also contains the full set of base classes, which provides a possibility to create lexers and parsers of any other languages.

These components may be used to build applications, which require the source code analyzing (tools of helps creating; calculators of expessions; designers of source codes; interpreters and compilers and etc.).
What´s new:
В Source Code Scanners 4.0 introduces the following new features and enhancements.
1. New components are added:
-TPasLexer represents a lexical analyzer of the Object Pascal (Delphi) source codes;
-TPhpLexer represents a lexical analyzer of the PHP source codes;
-THtmlLexer represents a lexical analyzer of the HTML source codes;
-TCss1Lexer represents a lexical analyzer of the CSS1 source codes;
-TScanningProgress displays a form of the scanning progress.
2. Old components are fully rewritten. All lexers are made more universal. Lexers return all input characters in a text of tokens. This allows to use these components to Highlight source codes.
3. Deep performance tuning has allowed dramatically to increase initialization speed of the lexical trees and speed of the lexical analyze.
4. The code of core classes was changed. These changes allow:
-to make lexers with rollback;
-to set a token type in the code of actions attached to regular expressions;
-to make the lexical analyze "case insensitive".
