BS Editor: - Send Short Message Service 'text' messages on the PC via a com port connected Sony CMD-Z5 cellular telephone.

Its fairly intuitive to use, but suffice to say first select the correct COM port on the Config page. The rest of the values on that page needn't be changed. Click the 'Connect' button and retrieve the phonebook. Alternatively you can just enter the destination mobile number directly in the edit box where it says 'Recipient'.

The reason for the maximum number of characters being set to 144, is because there is a firmware bug (which I've reported to Sony).

It doesn't install anything else, modify any settings or files or mess about with the registry. you can free download SMSer 0.16b now.
