Editor: This program is a Internet Explorer LAN surveillance tool. It will register all use of internet explorer on the lan it is installed onto. There is a server part, and a client part of the program. The server can be installed on any computer within the LAN that has a static IP. The client must be copied to all other computers on the LAN that you want to surveillance. When this is done the server will get a message every time a client computer use IE with the following information:
Client Computer Name, Client IP address, Logged on user, Time and URL visited.

The client is runned in stealth mode, and can only be viewed with the right key combination, if someone should be able to find the combination and try to Shut It down, it just restarts by itself. The only way to stop it is to kill the client with the windows Task Manager. Therefor it will be usefull to rename the client to a name not so obviously reqognized.

The reason for this program is that i have several times been asked if i know of any program that could help companys to restrict forbidden use of IE on the their computer park. Both regarding safety and employeers wasting the companys time and money on useless surfing, chatting etc.
I have not been able to find any program like this when searching the web, so i decided to make this little tool.
Many peoples dont like the thought of beeing "spyed on" by programs as this one, therefor i have tried to make it as simple as possible. The client wont show any messages, warnings or anything like this. But the Administrator of the LAN will still know every move the client does, and can deal with any missuse any way the Company want to. I strongly suggest that all employeers get notified prior to the installation, that the company computers from now of will be monitored.
