BSEditor: The newer Macintosh models come with keyboards that do not sport a shutdown key. To shut down, you must go to the Finder's Special menu and choose "Shut Down". If you have one of these keyboards and would like to restore the convenience of the shutdown key, download this simple AppleScript and assign it to one of the existing function keys, say F15. Since it's an application, it's slightly slower than a true shutdown key (but otherwise just as convenient). Meant for Power PC Macs running OS 9. you can free download Shutdown Script now.
