PushPix 1.0.1.1 Description
"PushPix will capture images from devices connected to your computer."
PushPix will Capture images from devices connected to your computer and save them to disk when it detects movement. It can also FTP the images to another system, and/or allow others to use a web browser to view the images directly on the machine where PushPix is running. The WWW server portion of PushPix is not designed for use in high-load situations. Think of it more as a way to take a peek at what's going on at home while you're away at work. Are your cats sitting around, smoking your liquor and drinking your cigars?
PushPix takes two images and compares them. If the difference Between the two images is greater than the Threshold (Sensitivity), it saves the last image captured to disk and sets a flag telling the program there is a new image available for FTPing.
-Press Start Capture to begin capturing images, FTPing, and allowing WWW access.
-Press Stop Capture to stop capturing images and FTPing.
-Once the captures have started, pressing Adjust Video will allow you to change Exposure, Color Saturation, and so forth.
-The first time you use PushPix, or after changing the video device used, press Configure Camera to set the video parameters. (There will be an error message saying you have no video device connected.) Select the Video Capture Source. The only other settings that really matter are the ones showing you Want Preview and Want Bitmaps (or Similar settings...it may vary from system to system). The Pixel Format should be at least 24 bit for good quality images.
-Adjust the Motion Detector Sensitivity by moving the slider up (more sensitive) or down (less sensitive) until the sensitivity value at the bottom of the slider turns red and "Motion Detected" appear in the second panel of the status bar at the bottom of the form during movement.
-The last image captured will be displayed in the lower left corner. you can free download PushPix 1.0.1.1 now.
