BSEditor: POLYMARK is a powerful and flexible software for casting and detecting watermarks (signatures) on vectorial two-dimensional computer graphics; e.g. 2D maps, cartoons, image edges or region contours.

This version includes a module for opening, reading and writing Geographic Information System (GIS) files under the format of ESRI Shapefiles, (SHP) and generic vectorial graphics data in plain text files (TXT). Polygonal lines, either open or closed (polygons), contained in such files, can be watermarked with POLYMARK provided that thay have a minimum number of vertices.

A copyright owner can cast its unique id number (private key) as a watermark on the map (or vector graphic). The results of watermark detection can be used either for security or for copyright protection applications.
