PeerFolders is a P2P (peer-to-peer) application, which synchronizes folders of PC connected to the Internet. To Synchronize Folders Between the PCs of friends or colleagues or between your own PCs, you have just to associate a common secret "group name" to folders.
That's it. When connected the synchronization will be done.

PeerFolders allows to synchronize and transmit your files across different PCs connected to the Internet or the same LAN. PeerFolders is compatible with Windows 2000 and XP. To run the software must be installed on each PC that will synchronize data within.

To synchronize folders PeerFolders defines groups and friends. A friend is a PC owner, the name of the PeerFolders friend is the name of the PC. A group associates a group name to one folder of the PC. The folder associated to a group becomes the PeerFolders folder for the group on the PC. There is one group folder per group and per PC.

The PeeFolders application will start with no pre-defined group name. Once installed, the first Action is to create one group name and to synchronize it with friends to be able to share data.

To be able to synchronize data, friends only have to create groups with the same name on their respective PeerFolder application. One PeerFolder application can manage several different groups by simply adding new group names.

When a friend copies or creates a file in the group folder of a given group, the PeerFolders application copies this file to all the PC friends knowing the group name. The file is copied to all the group folders of the group.
