BSEditor: PageMaster is a Windows application that allows both manual and automatic text messaging to pagers and cellular phones. Users enter a list of pagers, and then selectively page single, multiple, or pre-defined groups at a time. PageMaster will monitor MAPI and VIM compliant Email (including Microsoft Outlook, Novell GroupWise and Lotus Notes) and can send partial or entire Email message to a pager. Mail filters allow the user to select which message are sent to the pager by searching for keywords. PageMaster also monitors PIM (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Schedule+, and Lotus Organizer) reminder alarms, and issues the reminders to your pager. When entering appointments in your PIM, you may set on-screen reminders for a specified time before the appointment. PageMaster will intercept these reminders and send them to your pager. In addition, PageMaster will monitor a telephone line for a pre-determined number of rings. When the number of rings is received, PageMaster issues a page indicating a call has gone unanswered. Call monitoring, Email, and PIM Reminder pages are only sent when either the screen saver is active or when monitoring has been manually activated. The automatic tie-in to the screen saver allows you to leave PageMaster running all the time.
