This program is designed to work with single files only.

Here is an example how it works:

1. Your have created a program "MyProg1.0.exe" which is using the Update.exe.

2. Your program location is here: C:\Programs\MyProgram\MyPrg1.0.exe

3. Your update path is here: http://www.MyHomepage/Files/MyPrg1x.exe

4. Your Info file (optional) is here: http://www.MyHomepage/Files/MyPrg1x.txt

5. You call the Update.exe from your (running) MyPrg1.0.exe or from the commandline like this:

Updater.exe [URL] http://www.MyHomepage/Files/MyPrg1x.exe [PATH] C:\Programs\MyProgram\MyPrg1.0.exe


Result:

After that the Update.exe is starting up, showing the Information txt file from the Server.

If the Update Button is pressed, the running application gets shutdown and renamed to MyPrg1.0.old
