Edit By BS Editor: NUMLINES.EXE will count the number of lines in a set of plain text files. It will also count the number of non-blank, non-comment lines (assumes comments are in C++ style).

Usage

numlines [/i] [/nologo] [/s] filespec

Where filespec is a specification of the files whose lines are to be counted. The specification can use the ? and * wildcards. Multiple specifications can be separated with a semi-colon.

Switches:
/i List each individual file.
/nologo Suppress program banner.
/s Recursively search subdirectories.

Example
