Quick Location
Notae lets you search through all of your notes’ content, title, tags, and comments in one search, instantly. Keyboard Shortcuts let you pick any of the first ten results and get to work without touching the mouse.
Import/Export
Notae imports a wide variety of formats including plain text, RTF, RTFD, Word, WordML, HTML, URL and text Clippings, PDFs, Web Archives, and even websites straight from the network. You can also export to most of the same formats, preserving your data and making it interchangeable with other programs.
Services Galore
You can select text or a URL in any program and, via Mac OS X Services, tell Notae to import that data and make a new note. You can even drag URLs and text to the application icon to do the same.
iPod
Note on your iPod? Sure! Notae can Detect any attached iPods, even multiple iPods, and export any document’s notes as text notes that are readable with any model of iPod that supports text notes. Notae can also use the Mac OS X Text-To-Speech ability to export a single note or entire notebook as audio files and add them to iTunes, ready for synching with any number of iPods.
Tag Browser
One of the pitfalls of using tags to categorize things is the sheer number and Diversity of tags that you wind up using to describe your notes. Notae solves this with a unique feature called the Tag Browser.
