Editor: mcSanitizer is an ActiveX Control that will completely erase the contents of sensitive files and documents that you specify. Normal file deletion only removes a file's directory entry, but leaves the data contained in the file on your disk drive. mcSanitizer completely overwrites the contents of a file, then renames it and then deletes it. mcSanitizer has the NSA approved seven-pass file Erasure method.
