Edit by : Class One Software, shareware programs for education, announces the release of Math Stars Plus 2008r1 for Windows and Macintosh. The basic module of Math Stars Plus challenges students to complete all fact groups up to a selectable number. As each function (+ - x /) is successfully completed, the student earns a STAR. When 4 stars have been earned, the student's name is entered into the Hall of Fame. The program records every problem the student attempts and can be set to use the student's previous data in selecting new problems.

Moved location of preferences and data files for improved compatibility with Vista and OS 10.5
Students now earn stars a half start at a time for more frequent encouragement.
Students can now add their name to any of the teacher-created classes
Added ability to import names from a text file or from "QuizMaker Pro 2009".
Fixed Help viewer which was not working correctly under OS 10.5 (Mac)

Added color to the action buttons to assist younger children in identifying the correct button

Improved the look and performance of the "Basket-o'-Math" game.
The last clicked square in Math Squares game now has a different appearance
