BSEditor: LanLight.exe is a small Visual Basic 6 program that monitors LAN TCP/IP traffic from & to your computer. The program runs as a System Tray Icon providing visual indication of network traffic. Right click the icon in the System Tray to Exit (stop) the program or change Icons. Holding the pointer over the icon will display the total number of TCP segments sent and received by your computer.

Please note there are separate versions of this program for Window 98 and for Windows NT4. Be sure to download the correct version for your Operating System. If you download the incorrect program, the setup will not run.

Purpose:
The program is intended as a "replacement" for (or addition to) the Modem Icon that used to show up when you dialed into your ISP for Internet connectivity.

There are 2 installation versions - one version is the executable only (LanlightP.zip).
The second - recommended - (LanlightF.zip) is a complete install that includes the required Visual Basic runtime and support dll's.
