The program is configured then copied to the root directory of each memory card for use in the cameras. Officers can take photos as usual. When they come in and insert the card into a Card Reader, the program will start (or the windows menu allowing you to pick the program to start) and officers need only input the incident number, their name, and the date (if the date is the current one, it puts in in for them). The program will copy the files to a preset path as long as it's a valid one. It can be set to rename the files sequentially or keep the names the same. Instead of turning the card in for download, officers simply input the information, clear the card using the program, and re-use the same card.
