EditBy: Techsmith, known for their excellent screen Capture application, SnagIt and their screencast tool, Camtasia, have developed a Hybrid product in Jing. This project makes capturing videos and images on your screen a simple, one click action and allows you to share them online with your friends.The concept of Jing is the always-ready program that instantly captures and shares images and video from your computer to anywhere.

Jing is now usable with high DPI displays or with Windows 'Large Fonts' enabled. You can now see progress bars when uploading and downloading if you hover over the launcher. You also have the option to cancel transfers. Updating (for the next release) should be even smoother. Jing now checks for updates on startup. If you have to update in the middle of a share, the media will be reopened after the update. We added the ability to check for updates in the More window. We implmented a workaround so that links shared via MSN Messenger should no longer be blocked.

Simply paste (CTRL-V or Command-V) the link into an IM chat, email, forum post, Twitter, anywhere...and when the person clicks it they see your freshly-uploaded screenshot. Like magic.
