Imagero reader is Java library for reading images and reading/writing of metadata. Supported file types are: BMP, GIF, TIFF, PNG, JNG, MNG, JPEG, PSD, PBM, PGM, PPM, and TGA, MRW, CRW, CR2, THM, NEF, DCR, and DNG, read embedded images from EPS, EPSI, and EPSF. High performance TIFF access/manipulation: getIFDCount, getIFD, saveIFD, insertIFD, appendIFD, removeIFD, split, merge, verticalMerge.

Supported metadata: IPTC, EXIF, XMP, Wang Annotations, ImageResourceBlock, ImageFileDirectrory, JPEG Markers. JAI ready - read image as tiled RenderedImage, JAIViewer included.
