ImageSurfer can load TIFF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, ASCII, Dicom, FITS, PNG and PGM files. It can also directly load Leica, and Zeiss confocal files.
ImageSurfer provide several 3D filters to improve signal-to-noise ratio.
ImageSurfer provide three deconvolution algorithms (Wiener filter, Constrained iterative, Maximum likelihood).
ImageSurfer offers traditional 3D visualization including directional Illumination, maximum intensity projection, direct volume rendering, and isosurface rendering. ImageSurfer can display height fields using a 2D Slice extractor and sample signal intensity value along auser defined curve.
