Editor: This freeware has been developed from an attempt to propose a new type of user interface from a different point of view than conventional.

This utility is a launcher to open arbitrary programs and documents with hotkeys which will be the NumPad keys. (Actually, HotNumPad is not limited to the NumPad Keys. Please refer to "2) HotNumPad.ini:" of readme.txt")

Unlike other similar task launchers, HotNumPad has no window as an interface for registering a HotKey and a command line as assinged thereto. However, a user interface has been introduced in Ver.1.5.

The assignement of a hotkey can be dynamicly changed. By continuously using, a natural hotkey arrangment for the individual user will remain.

Meanwhile, NumPad keys include MULTIPLY, ADD, SUBTRACT, DIVIDE and RETURN. However, any key can be added to or deleted from the control by HotNumPad. Please take into consideration the state of the NumLock key.

Anyway, please download and run HotNumPad, and then press NUMPAD5. "Google.com" will be opened. Therefrom, please open another Web page and press NUMPAD4. You can register NUMPAD4, as a hotkey assigned for opening the Web page, only by clicking the OK button of a confirmation dialog box. It is also very easy to reassign NUMPAD4 or NUMPAD5 to Another File. you can free download HotNumPad 1.51 now.
