It offers access to a limited number of applications depending on your screen resolution.
We think, that most people need FAST access to no more than 8-10 programs. Running Windows at 1024x768 gives you access to 9 applications, 12 applications if you run in 1280x1024 and 15 applications for people running Windows at 1600x1280.
