The plug in takes the results of a GDS search and visually groups related document together, so you can quickly identify the group that you are looking for. Document and images are displayed on a map, such as related document or Similar pictures are nearby. You can use the map to narrow down the search very easily or just see the group of documents result of your search.
You can navigate the map moving it (pan), zooming in it, and locating the document which are similar to one selected. Watch this video to see how it works ! or look at these examples on how it can help in your searches.
Currently the plug in works only with the English character set; therefore documents in Japanese or Chinese can not be mapped. you can free download GDS Images and Document Maps 2.0 now.
