ES Database Access 1.0 Description

"Query any ODBC Data Source from inside Excel."

EditBy: ES DataBase Access is a simple Microsoft Excel Add-In that will allow you to query an ODBC Data source from directly inside Microsoft Excel and display your query results in Excel. This replaces the no longer supported "SQLRequest" Add-In, which is not supported after Excel 2003. The ODBC Database is requeried each time the Spreadsheet is refreshed; this means your data is actually "live".

Having trouble using ES Database Access? Remember you need to Add the Add-in to your Add-in Manager in Excel!
For Excel 2002 and 2003 follow these steps:

Open Excel and click the Tools Menu, then Add-Ins
Click the Automation... button
Find and select the ESSDBAccess.XLFunctions
Click OK
For Excel 2007 follow these steps:

Click The Office button
Click Excel Options
Click the Add-Ins tab
Click the Automation... button
Find and select ESSDBAccess.XLFunctions
Click OK
