In order to setup a new profile to backup your data, simply click on the "Add New Backup Profile Button". After you have created and saved your profile, it will appear in the box below so that you may View It at anytime.

After you click on the "Add New Backup Profile" button, the following dialog box appears.
Then fill in the following information:
1) Profile Name: Give the profile a meaningful name. In this example, I chose "My Music Backup" because that is what is stored in the source folder.
2) Choose the Backup Frequency. You can select from:
Monthly, on any day and time you wish. (Ex. Every 2nd day of the month at 2am)
Weekly, on any day and time you wish. (Ex. Every Monday at 4am)
Daily, at any time you wish. (Ex. Every day at 5am
3) Select the Source Directory. This is the folder containing the files you wish to backup. At the scheduled time, all files in this folder will be backed up to the destination folder. In addition, all subfolders and files and those folders will be backed up. It is as if you used windows explorer to "drag" the entire folder to some backup location.
4) Select the Backup Directory. This is the place that the source files and folders are backed up to. In this example, after the scheduled backup, a directory called "My Music" will be created in the Backup Directory with all files and folders copied there. For example, after the scheduled backup if you looked at the backup directory you would see a folder called D:\Backup Data\My Music, and in that folder would be all of your important files.
5) Click "Save Backup Profile" to save the info and invoke this backup profile. you can free download Easy Data Backup 1.0 now.
