Editor: CalcOnTop is a standard calculator for PalmOS 5.0 which can be executed 'on top' of or from within any running application on a PalmOS 5.0 device. This greatly simplifies doing some calculations within an active application and eliminates the need to switch back to the launcher, start the built-in calculator and switch back to the program you were using.

The program can be started in various ways but default is using The Calculator Silk screen button next to the graffiti area. The program is executed 'on top' of the active application. When at the time of opening of CalcOnTop a field is being edited in the active application with a numeric value, this value will be copied into the calculator's display.

Exiting the program can be done by selecting the top-right black exit (x) button or tapping anywhere outside the calculator's window on the screen. You will return to the previously active application.
To paste CalcOnTop's display value back to the previously active application, select the bottom-right black (paste) button.

To select the activation method for CalcOnTop, select the (i) button in the top-right corner of the calculator's screen. The various options are :
- Menu Only : Stroking bottom-left to mid-right in the Graffiti character area will pop-up the Menu Command Bar.
Select the calculator icon to activate CalcOnTop.
- Calc. Silk Button : You can use the Calculator silk button or the menu option as described above.
- DateBook Button through Memo Button : You can use the stated Hardware button or the menu option as described above.
