CMS Scheduler runs as a client and server. The server runs as a Windows Service and performs all scheduling and running of tasks. The client is a front-end which enables server tasks to be configured and run. Multiple clients are supported in a networked environment.

CMS Scheduler uses the script interpreter engine used by all of the GPP Software CMS products. The script language enables complex and powerful tasks to be performed.
