As the season passes to autumn the leaves turn brown and fall to the ground, leaving a bare tree in winter, only for it to fade way and be replaced by a new year tree for a new year. The leaf and branch structure of each tree is created in a semi-random fashion, just like real trees in nature.
The animation has been created with the Flash Actionscript programming language which uses mathematical rules and formulas to create Pseudo-random animations in real time. This means that every time the screensaver is started the tree grow and regrow in different ways.
